Dr Smita’s journey began with an MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, followed by her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (M.Med O&G) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2004. She further honed her craft with a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (F.MAS) awarded by the World Laparoscopy Hospital.

Her vast experience spans across major institutions such as Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Ampang, where she underwent rigorous training, mastering advanced Level 3 gynaecological surgeries. Transitioning into private practice, Dr Smita served for over a decade as a Resident Consultant at Pantai Cheras Hospital, earning the trust and admiration of countless patients.
